Dubai Design Week, held in partnership with Dubai Design District (d3) will take place from 26 – 31 October, 2015.
Held under the Patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, the Design Week is also supported by both the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (DCAA), and the Dubai Design and Fashion Council (DDFC).
Creating a point of time that encourages the growth of the design industry in Dubai, Dubai Design Week will not only establish the city as the regional capital for design, but also as the global meeting point for the international design community. The 6 day event will activate more than 60 separate activities and projects, celebrating the best in design both regionally and internationally.
Integrated into the walkways of Dubai Design District (d3) are six curated country pavilions. Selected from the MENASA region, each country will exhibit their most exciting emerging and established design talent.
An eclectic mix of the best design brands the world has to offer will be on display at Downtown Design. Running 27-30 October, the event showcases the most innovative and cutting-edge brands in furniture, lighting, kitchens, bathrooms, accessories, textiles and new technologies.
An exciting series of world premiere installations by renowned designers and architects transforms Dubai throughout the Design Week. The specially commissioned installations will challenge convention and explore innovation, illustrating Dubai's creative diversity.
